Neuralys
PRIVACY // CANADA & QUEBEC

Privacy policy.

This policy explains how Neuralys collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use this website or contact us.

Contact us about privacy

This page is intended to provide clear information about personal information handled by the Neuralys website, including the contact form and required technical providers.

1. Privacy accountability

Neuralys is responsible for the personal information it collects, uses, discloses, retains, or destroys in the course of its activities. The accountable role is: Privacy Officer.

For privacy questions, access requests, correction requests, consent withdrawal, or complaints, contact us at partnership@neuralys.dev.

2. Personal information we collect

We collect only the information necessary for the purposes described in this policy. When you submit the contact form, we may collect your name, professional email address, project or challenge type, the context you provide in your message, page language, and technical information needed to operate the form securely.

Please do not submit sensitive, confidential, medical, financial, biometric, or third-party personal information through the contact form unless it is strictly necessary and agreed with us.

3. Why we use personal information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, assess initial project context, communicate with you, operate the website securely, and keep a reasonable record of business communications.

We do not use contact-form information to sell lists, perform advertising profiling, or make fully automated decisions about you.

4. Consent and withdrawal

By voluntarily submitting information through the form or by email, you consent to its use for the purposes described in this policy.

You may withdraw consent for certain uses or disclosures, subject to applicable legal, contractual, or operational restrictions. To do so, contact us at the address listed in this policy.

5. Service providers and transfers outside Quebec

We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us operate the website, host the application, process form submissions, or send transactional email. The contact form currently uses Resend to deliver received messages to Neuralys contact inboxes.

These providers may process or store information outside Quebec or Canada. Where applicable, Neuralys considers this possibility when assessing providers and limits disclosure to what is necessary.

6. Cookies, analytics, and tracking technologies

At this time, the website does not enable marketing analytics, behavioural advertising, or advertising profiling cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies or technical mechanisms may be used if required by hosting, security, or website functionality. If analytics or marketing tools are added later, this policy and cookie preferences should be updated before activation.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, managing a potential business relationship, or meeting legal obligations.

When information is no longer required, we delete, destroy, or anonymize it in a reasonable manner based on the context and systems involved.

8. Safeguards

We use reasonable and proportionate safeguards to protect personal information, including collection limitation, access restriction, use of reputable providers, management of sensitive environment variables, and secure transmission when the site is served over HTTPS.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We therefore aim to limit the information collected and reduce risk by design.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable exceptions, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction, withdraw consent for certain uses or disclosures, ask a question, or make a complaint.

Where the right to portability applies, you may request computerized personal information collected from you in a structured, commonly used technological format, subject to legal limits.

10. Privacy incidents

If a privacy incident involving personal information occurs, Neuralys will take reasonable measures to reduce risk, assess whether there is a risk of serious injury, and keep required records.

Where required by law, Neuralys will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec and affected individuals.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, service providers, internal practices, or applicable requirements.

Material changes should be communicated appropriately, and the last-updated date will be adjusted.
